Imagine you have a wild cow as a neighbor

​

A neighbor you don’t want and cannot trust.

A neighbor who is constantly trying to kick you out of your property or even to kill you.

Suppose this cow, after ruminating on her grass, wants to “have a chat” with you.

The cow wants to reach an agreement with you.

Would you sit down and have a conversation with a cow in order to reach a peace agreement between neighbors?

Israel and the cow

We are trying to negotiate with animals, completely irrational.

From the cow you can at least have a return or even some pleasure

such as milk and meat.

From these enemies such Hamas and accomplices all we can get

is a new kick, a gore, a bite, a bullet, or a missile fired on us.

In order to survive the attacks from the cow,

We must be on guard all day long, all year long.

We are trying to negotiate using our educated language and civilized manners,  

Our enlightened worldview and life perspective.

The problem is

We are not speaking the same language with our enemies.

We live in the Middle East and should be talking the local language.

Not the language we use, but the language the enemy understands.

The enemy is not logical and does not have any compassion.

They do not see life as a supreme value.

They worship martyrdom and death.

Especially our death.

We are going in the wrong direction.

We are losing ground in this war.

We first should identify and avoid emotional traps, that can cause us to be irrational with negotiations.

This is exactly what is happening regarding the crisis of Israeli hostages.

Negotiation is setting an even worse precedent than we already have.

It is time to learn the language the enemies understand.

We all should learn from Sun Tzu’s masterpiece book The Art of Negotiation

If deception is not working well enough,

Use force and if not enough, use more force
